Hamid Moghadam is the Managing Partner of Chalet Run Capital Management (CRCM), a family office focused on business building, strategic investing, and long-term capital allocation. He founded CRCM following a 42-year career as the co-founder and CEO of Prologis, where he transformed the company into the world’s leading logistics real estate platform and an S&P 100 global leader.

Hamid’s investment philosophy is shaped by decades of allocating capital across operating businesses, real estate, and institutional portfolios. He served on the board of Stanford Management Company for nearly 20 years, including as Chair, helping oversee one of the world’s premier university endowments. At CRCM, he partners with exceptional entrepreneurs, management teams, and investment managers to build enduring businesses and compound capital over the long term.

Hamid continues to serve as Executive Chairman of Prologis and formerly served as a member of the Business Roundtable. His career has been recognized with numerous honors, including being ranked #17 in Harvard Business Review’s most recent global ranking of the world’s best-performing CEOs, being named the National EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ 2013 Overall Award winner, and being recognized by Institutional Investor as the top CEO in the real estate sector for multiple consecutive years. In 2026, he received the Stanford Graduate School of Business Ernest C. Arbuckle Award in recognition of his distinguished leadership and contributions to management.

He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
